$________ Port Authority negligence - Damages only case following liability determination against Port Authority for ________ World Trade Center Bombing - Plaintiff injures shoulder as she is running down stairway - Smoke inhalation - PTSD.

This was a damages only action stemming out of the ________ World Trade Center bombing. The defendant had been held to be responsible in a prior liability only trial. The plaintiff, in her 40s, contended that after the explosion, she lost her footing with the crowd rushing down the stairs, fell several steps and suffered a sprain and contusion of the shoulder and a partial rotator cuff tear to the non-dominant shoulder. The plaintiff maintained that she will suffer some pain and restriction permanently. The plaintiff also suffered smoke inhalation that substantially resolved.

The plaintiff maintained that she also suffered PTSD and underwent approximately one year of psychotherapy. The plaintiff’s treating psychologist contended that the plaintiff will suffer anxiety and as fear of traveling into Manhattan despite the psychotherapy. The defendant contended that the injuries resolved.

The jury awarded $________ for past pain and suffering, $________ for past medical bills and $________ for past lost wages.
