Two months after his acquittal, the plaintiff filed suit in the Supreme Court of New York, Westchester County, accusing the defendants of malicious prosecution, abuse of process, and negligence per se. The plaintiff sought an unspecified amount in damages. The defendant denied the accusation.The jury returned a finding for the plaintiff and awarded Mr. C. $________ in damages.
