In this premises liability action, the plaintiff maintained that he was injured when he slipped and fell on liquid on the defendant’s premises. The defendant denied all allegations of negligence and maintained that the plaintiff was comparatively negligent.

On or about January 7, ________, the male plaintiff was an invitee, licensee and/or otherwise legally on defendant’s premises doing his grocery shopping when he was caused to slip and fall due to liquid on the floor of the premises. The plaintiff maintained that the defendant was negligent in failing to properly monitor, test, inspect or clean the premises, failing to provide sufficient warning as to the reasonably foreseeable defects and dangerous nature of the premises, failing to barricade and/or block-off the defective and/or dangerous area of the premises and failing to clean liquid from floor of the premises.

The plaintiff suffered a lumbosacral sprain and strain and a large tear within posterior horn of the medial meniscus of the right knee. The defendant denied all liability and injury and maintained that the plaintiff was comparatively negligent.The plaintiff was awarded $________ in damages.
